Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to dominate the global box office, even as it faces a 65% drop in its earnings on the fifth Monday. The movie still managed to bring in approximately ₹2.5 crore, marking a slight dip from its previous highs. Despite this, Pushpa 2 has been on an incredible record-breaking spree, solidifying its place as one of the highest-grossing films in Indian cinema history.
In its opening week, the film grossed a massive ₹725.8 crore, followed by ₹264.8 crore in the second week. The collections slowed in the subsequent weeks, with ₹129.5 crore in the third week and ₹69.65 crore in the fourth. The fifth week, though beginning on a low note, still managed to gross ₹18.95 crore as of Monday.
In total, the film’s net box office collection in India has reached ₹1208.7 crore, with the Hindi-dubbed version achieving an unprecedented ₹800 crore, making it the first Hindi film to do so. Globally, Pushpa 2: The Rule has amassed a total of ₹1831 crore in just four weeks, surpassing the lifetime earnings of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which had previously held the record with ₹1810 crore.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule features Allu Arjun’s standout performance alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The film has resonated with audiences worldwide, further cementing its status as a massive blockbuster.
