Pushpa 2 Full Movie Collection: Pushpa 2 Box office Day 32: The Allu Arjun starrer earns 7 cr; Baby John struggles to cross the 1 cr mark too - Times of India

Despite completing over a month since its release, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to dominate the box office. Though the pace has slowed, the film managed to collect ₹7 crore net on its 32nd day, pushing its total domestic earnings to a staggering ₹1,206 crore net, according to Sacnilk. Directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, the movie’s gripping storyline, outstanding performances, and Devi Sri Prasad’s pulsating music have struck a chord with audiences nationwide, making it a cinematic phenomenon.

However, the film’s success has been accompanied by controversy, as its lead star, Allu Arjun, faces legal challenges related to the tragic Sandhya Theater stampede incident. On January 5, the actor appeared at the Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad to comply with bail conditions set by the court. The tragic event occurred on December 4, during the film’s premiere, when an uncontrollable crowd gathered to see the star, leading to a stampede. The incident claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman and left her 8-year-old son injured, sparking widespread criticism and legal scrutiny.

As per court directives, Allu Arjun has been listed as Accused No. 11 in the case. He is required to report to the investigating officer every Sunday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for two months or until the charge sheet is filed. In compliance, the actor also submitted sureties at the Metropolitan Criminal Court in Nampally. Additional conditions imposed include restrictions on leaving the country without prior permission and notifying authorities before changing his residential address. These measures will remain effective until the case concludes.

The Sandhya Theater stampede has led to a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theater management. Complaints were filed under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) by the deceased woman’s family. The actor was initially arrested on December 13 and granted interim bail on December 14 by the Telangana High Court, which is set to expire on January 10. The ongoing investigation has added urgency to this high-profile case, which has captivated public attention as much as the movie itself.

This dual narrative of massive box office success and legal troubles highlights the unpredictable journey of stardom, where personal and professional lives often intersect in dramatic ways. Fans continue to celebrate the film’s achievements while awaiting further developments in the case.
