100 Years of Raj Kapoor: The Kapoor family is celebrating 100 years of Raj Kapoor, a luminary in the world of Hindi cinema. Raj Kapoor, who is popularly known as ‘Showman’, has brought immense fame to the world of Hindi cinema. His paintings are being re-exhibited in this special ceremony. Ranbir Kapoor is playing a key role in this program. Along with organizations like NFDC (National Film Development Corporation), NFAI (National Film Archive of India), Film Heritage Foundation, Ranbir is taking this project forward in collaboration with his uncle Kunal Kapoor.
100 Years of Raj Kapoor Tribute
Speaking at an event held at IFFI Goa, Ranbir said, “We have screened 10 films so far… more to be done. I want you to see these films because many people still haven’t seen some of his good films,” he added. To make the occasion even more special, the Kapoor family will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor left for Delhi together for this meeting.

They sparkled at the Kalina Private Airport in Mumbai. As part of celebrating 100 years of Raj Kapoor and recognizing his outstanding contribution to the world of cinema, the family will share this special honor with Prime Minister Modi. All of them looked resplendent in traditional attire. Neetu Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor looked alike in ivory anarkalis.
